You’ve been carrying this long enough.

Anxiety, depression, and trauma don’t always look like a crisis. Sometimes it’s just exhaustion, disconnection, or the quiet feeling that something needs to change.

About Sarah

Dr. Sarah Mitchell, MPsych

I meet you where you are. Not where you think you should be. My work is grounded in the belief that people are not broken. They’re often just carrying too much without the right support.

Over 10 years working across anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties has taught me that sustainable change is rarely dramatic. It’s quiet, cumulative, and deeply personal.

“Therapy works best when it starts with curiosity, not diagnosis.”

Areas of Speciality

I work with adults across a range of challenges.

Anxiety & Stress

Persistent worry, panic, and burnout. Practical strategies grounded in CBT and mindfulness to help you feel calmer and more in control.

Depression & Low Mood

Feeling flat, disconnected, or like things will never change. Therapy that helps you understand what's happening and find your way back to what matters most.

Relationships & Trauma

From couples difficulties to unresolved trauma. Work with individuals and couples in a safe, non-judgmental space.

My Approach

Therapy that goes beneath the surface.

My work is integrative — drawing from evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, and the Gottman Method. I tailor the approach to you, not the other way around.

Yes. All individual sessions are available via telehealth (Zoom or phone). Couples sessions are offered in-person or via Zoom. Many clients find the flexibility of telehealth works well alongside their schedules.
This varies significantly depending on what you’re working through. Some people find meaningful progress in 6–10 sessions. Others prefer ongoing support over a longer period. We review progress together regularly so you always feel in control of the pace.
Yes. What you share in sessions is strictly confidential. There are a small number of exceptions required by law — such as if there is immediate risk of harm — and I’ll always explain these clearly in our first session.
